How Can I Pair/Connect my Recorder With the Hexoskin OneApp?

This article includes detailed steps for pairing and connecting a Recorder with the Hexoskin OneApp. The first section of the article is for the first time pairing instructions, and the second section is for the steps to connect your Recorder to the Hexoskin OneApp via Bluetooth after the initial pairing.

Important: Before starting the pairing and/or connection process, be sure the Recorder is not connected to anything (Shirt, computer, wall charger, or battery). Also, make sure the Recorder is charged.

Initial Pairing Steps

Upon their first login to the Hexoskin OneApp, the participants will be redirected to the pairing page of the app. 

There, they should simply press the Recorder’s button once to wake up the Recorder.

The Recorder should show up on the screen below “Nearby Devices.”

Tip: You can identify a Recorder using its Serial Number (SN), which is indicated on a sticker at the back of the Recorder (look for SN).

When you find the recorder you want to pair with the Hexoskin OneApp, simply tap on it on the screen to select it.

Tip: If your recorder does not show up on the Hexoskin OneApp in the “Nearby Devices” list, try pressing the Recorder’s button and holding it for about 5 seconds until the Status Light turns blue, and then release it.

You will then be prompted with a “Bluetooth Pairing Request” pop-up. Simply tap “Pair” to complete the pairing process.

 

After the First Time Pairing

The Bluetooth connection is done automatically when the Hexoskin OneApp is open and nearby your Recorder and that you awake your recorder (to awake your Recorder, press the Recorder’s button once).

To make sure the connection is completed, open the Hexoskin OneApp’s connection page (look for a Recorder or an antenna icon in the top right corner of the app).

You should see your Recorder in the “Nearby Devices” section with a green check mark and a “Connected” status.

If you see your Recorder but not the green check mark and “Connected” status, simply tap on your Recorder on the screen and wait a few seconds to complete the connection.
