# How to Schedule Visits and Appointments

## A step-by-step guide to scheduling subject visits within the OneView Dashboard. Includes important instructions on date selection and how to resolve scheduling errors.

The OneView Dashboard allows you to enter events such as visits and appointments in the profile of a subject. 

This article details step-by-step this process.

### Step-by-Step Instructions

1. **Locate the Subject:** Navigate to the **Subjects** tab and select the specific subject's profile.

2. **Access the Visits & Appointments List:** Click on the **Visits & Appointments** tab within the profile. This section displays all currently available events for the subject.

3. **Log the Event:** Click the **Record Visit** button.

4. **Set the Date:** Choose the intended date from the calendar picker.

5. **Finalize:** Click **Confirm Visit** to save the entry.

**Important Considerations:**

- **No Retroactive Scheduling:** The dashboard does not allow visits to be scheduled for past dates.
