Study-provisioned Smart Phone Set Up (iOS)

Instructions for configuring study-provisioned iOS smartphones for participants without personal mobile devices.

During the onboarding session, confirm whether the participant’s personal smartphone meets the technical requirements for the Hexoskin OneApp (see the smartphone provisioning decision tree article). If it does not, provide a Study Smartphone from the inventory available at your site.

Please ensure that the data roaming is enabled on the study-provisioned smartphones. 

To do so, go to the iPhone's Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > enable "Data Roaming".

If the Hexoskin OneApp is not yet installed, it will be automatically installed once "Data Roaming" is enabled, so the participant can begin collecting data.
