Update iPhone OS Manually

Learn how to manually update your Hexoskin-provided iPhone if long-term storage and a depleted battery cause automatic iOS updates to fail.

Hexoskin-provided iPhones are configured to update their iOS automatically. However, if a device is stored long-term and the battery completely depletes, these automatic updates will fail. To manually update the iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap General, then tap Software Update.
    The currently installed iOS is shown, and whether an update is available.
  3. If an update is available, tap Download and Install, then follow the onscreen instructions.
